This is fascinating. So Mausam is a set of ideas/protocols?

Thank you! Really glad it resonated. Mausam isn’t a formal framework (yet), but yes, it’s a constellation of ideas and imagined protocols that challenge fixed notions of property. It’s more of a conceptual seed. If you're interested in the thinking that underpins this, you might want to explore our South Asian Futures framework: https://roan-element-475.notion.site/Building-South-Asian-Futures-1126f9a4a67f80d3aafcc7327ed8ce89

It anchors a lot of our provocations around movement, governance, and imagined alternatives.

very energized by (a quick scan of) the SAF principles! I did sense the influence of Bayo Akomolafe's work (I'm sure you've seen the recent work on water, e.g. https://www.instagram.com/the_emergence_network/p/DHgoF9CPVtj/?img_index=1). This is necessary and vital work, and would love to partner and support in any way I can

Really appreciate this! And yes, Bayo’s work has been a deep influence, especially in how we think about the cracks in dominant systems.

Would love to stay in conversation and explore possibilities for collaboration. We’re building this work slowly and relationally, so support and resonance like yours means a lot. I’ll reach out soon so we can continue this off Substack too.
